Smith Sites Services Updates

Smith Sites is pleased to announce that we have recently upgraded our backend systems to enhance the value we provide to our clients. These improvements have been implemented with no additional cost to our valued customers. We are committed to continuously improving our services to ensure the utmost satisfaction of our clients.

Hosting

We migrated all of our hosting from Cloudways to xCloud hosting. This has resulted in increased speed for every site we host. That is not to say that Cloudways is bad… In fact, it is still quite good. It just was no longer the right fit for Smith Sites. I still like Cloudways, and if you want to check it out, I still recommend it.

Backup

We upgraded our system backup to ensure you never lose your data. All of our sites are backed up in place daily, and weekly a full backup is encrypted and sent offsite to ensure in the unlikely event of a total server crash your data is still safe… Wow, I kind of just felt like a flight attendant just now.

Privacy Laws

A new state just past some more privacy laws. If you are a Premium Concierge Client or use Termagedon, you don’t have to do anything about it. Your site’s terms and conditions have already been updated.

Site Builder

We moved away from Thrive Themes and to the Kadence theme. This move alone has helped improve all of our website’s performance while maintaining or improving their designs. Also, Kadence has less overhead.
